A professional photographer, Robin brings her creative eye to the documentary team. Her contemporary, fine art photography has appeared in national publications, and has been showcased in corporate, commercial, and private collections worldwide. As a competitive endurance runner in her own right, Robin has been actively involved in the SFUHS varsity cross-country and track & field teams since 2008. She has become a friend and avid fan of the remarkable Jim Tracy. Robin has a BA from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Dan Noyes is a television journalist and multiple Emmy Award-winner with decades of experience in newsmagazines, network news, and local television. He brings his keen interviewing and storytelling skills to Running for Jim. Dan is Anchor and Chief Investigative Reporter for ABC 7 News in San Francisco.
Staci is involved in many aspects of development, production and distribution of the film. Tapping on a rich background of over 15 years in various marketing roles for high-technology companies including Apple, HP and Tektronix, Staci brings a wealth of innovative thinking and resourcefulness to the project. In keeping with her interest in social entrepreneurship, Staci is focused on building partnerships to serve the greater good. She received her BA from UC Berkeley. Staci currently resides in San Francisco where she is an avid long-distance runner.
Judy is honored to tell Coach Jim Tracy's story. This project is especially close to her heart, since her late father had ALS. Judy brings years of television and film experience to the project. She is co-founder and producer at MarinHome.TV, a professional video business for the real estate industry. While living in NYC, Judy was a producer and publicist for King World's newsmagazines American Journal and Inside Edition. Judy started her career with a boutique PR firm representing high-profile TV and film personalities, independent films and major motion pictures.
Lou Wirth has been producing, directing and editing television and corporate media for over 3 decades. His work has been seen on Discovery, Lifetime, VH-1, ABC, NBC, PBS, HGTV, and the History Channel just to name a few. His corporate clients include Walmart, Oracle, Adobe and Lucasfilm. With nine Emmy Awards and three Telly Awards, Lou has set a bar for production standards that he applies to every project. Lou Wirth Productions is located in Marin County California.
David is an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker who has produced, written and directed over 80 productions and 14 broadcast documentaries. His documentaries have received over 85 international awards, include three Emmy Awards, and have been broadcast on PBS and in sixteen countries. Recent work includes: Keeper of the Beat: A Woman’s Journey into the Heart of Drumming, which won runner-up for the Audience Award at the 2013 Mill Valley Film Festival.
Carlyn studied under David L. Brown at San Francisco Film Society. From 2001 to 2005 her daughter Grace ran for Jim Tracy on the SFUHS varsity cross-country team. Captain for three years, Grace helped the team win three State Championships. Carlyn was actively involved with the team during this time and since 2001 has developed a close bond with Coach Tracy.
